At this point, we are just the present writer, Gary Robinson. My aim is to find a partner, or perhaps a venture studio or hedge fund, interested in helping me build HedgeCoin.

Some bio for me appears on my personal site. But to summarize a few aspects:

From all available info, it appears that I was the first person to conceive of the tracking cookie and have it working in the lab, by November 19, 1995. Google owns my patent describing it (5,918,014), and as recently as the early 2020s, Google and Twitter were still using it in defensive litigation where someone comes out of nowhere and tries to sue for patent infringement; because my priority date always turns out to be earlier.

It also appears that I was the first to implement recommendations using collaborative filtering based on passive data collection, which is the modern basis for internet recommendations, in the 1980s. This was in a commercial dating product that worked via touch-tone phone input.

I was the main creator of a statistical approach to spam filtering that was adopted by a number of award-winning spam filters; see “Thanks, Gary” at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/spamassassin/trunk/CREDITS.

And I was the third person to join the startup team of Athenium, which had a successful exit, merging with Weather Analytics to form Athenium Analytics. I am always looking for interesting new opportunities.
